Christmas Miracle? Neiman Marcus to Sell One-of-One Barrett-Jackson GMC Hummer EV

Neiman Marcus is known for high-end, luxury and the rare goods sold at its department stores. However, it is the Christmas Book—an annual catalog offered since 1939—that offers very special “fantasy” gifts that kick things up another level. This year, one of those fantasy gifts is a one-off GMC Hummer EV Edition One pickup; you can find it in the catalog with a six-digit price tag. That’s because not only is this Hummer EVs interior designed by Craig Jackson, CEO of Barrett-Jackson Auctions, but the purchase also comes with VIP access for two to the owner’s skybox and a chance to drop the gavel during the 2022 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction in Scottsdale, AZ.

Hummer’s History With Neiman Marcus

This isn’t the first time that Neiman Marcus has sold a Hummer. Back in 1992, when the first Hummer H1 Limited Editions were sold, Neiman Marcus offered them in its catalogs. These Neiman Marcus H1s wore badging depicting where they were purchased and their production number, as total H1 production was limited to just 1,000 units. However, only 316 were built and sold in 1992, making these H1s the rarest of the rare. Luxury and scarcity are the staples of Neiman Marcus product offerings, so why would that change for the Christmas Book.

Auction Worthy Hummer EV

At $285,000, this one-of-one Hummer EV Edition One pickup is something special. The truck is already amazing as it stands and is an Edition One version, but then Craig Jackson got his hands on it to make it truly unique. Inside, the Barrett-Jackson Hummer EV features two-tone leather seats and red anodized metal accents. The center console tells you that this is not a Hummer off the GMC dealer lot with “Neiman Marcus Exclusive One of One” printed on it just above the shifter.

The center of the steering wheel features a Barrett-Jackson logo with red accents around it while Neiman Marcus badging is found on the passenger side of the dashboard. “NM” is stitched on the head rests and the “Barrett-Jackson” logo is stitched into the seat backs of those two-tone seats.

This is still a Hummer EV that’s meant to go both on- and off-road and do either quickly. Being an Edition One version of the GMC EV pickup means that you get special options like “Watts to Freedom”—the full power mode that allows you to reach 60 mph in just three seconds—and CrabWalk mode.

Also included in the build is the Hummer EVs Extreme Off-Road Package, which includes 35 inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tires on black 18 inch aluminum wheels. You also get front e-lockers and rear “virtual” rear lockers, skid plates, ball spline half shafts, and the 18 view camera system known as UltraVision.

More Than Just The Truck

In addition to purchasing this Barrett-Jackson special, a $10,000 donation will be made to The Heart of Neiman Marcus Foundation. This foundation helps to “bring enriching arts experiences to youth” because art “changes lives” according to the FAQ on their page. The owner will also receive an EV charging station installed in their home as well as “ensured priority parking” with a charging station attached to it at their preferred Neiman Marcus store. However, the true treat for the automotive enthusiast is the experience they will receive.

At the 2022 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction on January 22-30, 2022 at WestWorld of Scottsdale, the purchaser of the Barrett-Jackson Hummer will get two VIP tickets for the owner’s skybox. They will also get the ultimate fantasy experience: the opportunity to drop the gavel during the auction. This is something not many enthusiasts will ever get the chance to experience, especially on the home turf of Barrett-Jackson, which is headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ.

If you’ve got roughly $300,000 to spend during Christmas and want the ultimate experience at Barrett-Jackson, this is your chance. Hey, you’ll get a one-of-a-kind GMC Hummer EV Edition One pickup in the exchange, too.
