Will Ford Help You Turn Your Mustang Mach-E into a Woodie?

The Ford Mustang Mach-E is both polarizing and exciting, with Ford expanding the Mustang lineup to an all-electric crossover and spinning it off into over-the-top projects like the Mustang Mach-E 1400. While most folks won’t be able to snag the 1,400-hp Mach-E drift machine, Ford might be doing something interesting for production variants, harkening back to the glory days of the Country Squier. That’s right: woodgrain.

Posted on the Ford Mach-E Club Forum, it looks like some woodgrain graphics might have hit the Ford accessory website earlier than expected. Spotted by user Electric Pony, it shows that these graphics, if they return to the website, will set you back just over $200.

The included graphics kit comes with decals for the hood, side skirts, and hatch. That might not be as expansive as the sheets of vinyl covering your vintage Country Squier or Jeep Grand Wagoneer, but it would make for a distinct addition to your Mach-E.

Now, this could be an odd, elaborate prank on the Mach-E community, or a rescinded idea from the Ford accessory team. However, when you plug the part number VMK9Z-6320000-B into a search engine, it does take you to what used to be the landing page for this graphics kit. That should be promising for those that want to set their Mach-E apart from the crowd.
