Triumph Rocket 3 221 Edition revealed globally
The Triumph Rocket 3 ‘221 Edition’ is named after the motorcycle’s ground-breaking peak torque output of 221 Nm.
Triumph has unveiled the Rocket 3 ‘221 Edition’ for the international markets. Both variants (R and GT) of the motorcycle are available in this new ‘221 Edition’.
The Triumph Rocket 3 ‘221 Edition’ is named after the motorcycle’s ground-breaking peak torque output of 221 Nm. The figure can also be seen on either side of the bike’s fuel tank. There are also some fresh graphics and the eye-catching colour scheme that the British brand has named ‘Red Hopper’.
The Triumph Rocket 3 ‘221 Edition’ also features multiple blacked-out parts that enhance the bold visual appeal of the motorcycle. These include radiator shrouds, windscreen, side panels, rear bodywork and fender brackets.
Apart from the cosmetic tweaks, no other changes have been implemented in the Triumph Rocket 3 ‘221 Edition’. This means, powering the motorcycle is the same gigantic 2,500cc, 3-cylinder engine that makes 165 BHP @ 6,000 rpm.
Last month, Triumph had revealed the Bonneville Gold Line Edition models that are expected to be launched in India next year.
