Next-gen Triumph Tiger 1200 to be revealed on December 7
The upcoming motorcycle is likely to have a shaft drive and a new lightweight frame.
Triumph has been releasing teaser videos of the next-gen Tiger 1200 for quite some time. The British brand has now announced that it will reveal the upcoming motorcycle on December 7, 2021.
The next-gen Triumph Tiger 1200 is likely to be powered by the same 1,160cc, three-cylinder engine that the company uses in the Speed Triple 1200 RR and 1200 RS models. This motor delivers 178 BHP and 125 Nm.
In terms of features, the next-gen Triumph Tiger 1200 is expected to come equipped with a fully adjustable suspension setup. The motorcycle is likely to have a shaft drive and a new lightweight frame. As for the electronics, there could be a fully digital and colour instrument cluster, 6-axis IMU, cornering ABS, and multi-level traction control.
The next-gen Triumph Tiger 1200 will have an upswept exhaust, dual-LED headlamp setup, decent-size windscreen, split seats, front beak and knuckle guards. The motorcycle could be offered with fog lamps as standard.
