In the frontal offset impact test, the protection for the driver’s chest was rated at marginal, while the protection for the passenger’s chest and right knee was rated as adequate. Protection for other areas of the driver and passenger was rated as good. The bodyshell of the car was rated stable. The test car was equipped with 2 airbags, ABS, ESC and seatbelt reminder system. Side and curtain airbags are available as an option on higher variants. The car is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated unit producing 105 BHP and 150 Nm.

In India, the ZS is offered only with an electric powertrain. That said, the petrol ZS has been spotted in India last year.
